The American Heart Association book collection contains manuals necessary for cardiac resuscitation certification.  The Banner Training Center BLS/ACLS/PALS page (found under "A" for ACLS and "B" for BLS) in Banner Connect gives details about book access, as well as the certification schedule, registration, and class locations.

The collection includes the following titles:

• ACLS for Experienced Providers Manual and Resource Text
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Manual
• AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Manual
• Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care for Healthcare Providers
• Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Student Workbook
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Manual
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) Provider Manual

Please note that the library no longer keeps print copies of the BLS, PALS, or ACLS manuals.  They are only available through Banner's online subscription.
