Banner Health FAQs

Access Micromedex on your home computer or via the mobile application

1) If you have a Banner Health email address, simply go to our home page, Resources>A-Z Resources>M>Micromedex . Use your Banner Health Email, Password, and Microsoft Authenticator to gain access.

2) If you do not have a Banner Health email address, you will need a  library issued OpenAthens account. Log into My OpenAthens From the home tab, find Micromedex. Micromedex does work with OpenAthens.

3) NEW Mobile Application Access: Download the new Micromedex app, open the app and a unique activation code will be generated on the mobile, write down this number.

4) Now use a Banner device and click the FOLLOW THE LINK TO ACTIVATE NEW MOBILE APP. Activate the app by adding the code from your mobile device.  

Find the access password:

• Library Home Page>Resources>A-Z Resources>M>Micromedex

• Click on "Mobile Application Access" in the upper-right hand corner.

• Expand the 1st menu option 'Micromedex Mobile App Access' (included with subscription).
