How do I get an OpenAthens username and password?
Only affiliates without a Banner Health email account need an OpenAthens login

Register for an OpenAthens account
After our staff have verified your association with Banner Health, an account activation email will be sent to you.
- It may take up to 3 business days for your account to be created.
- OpenAthens users should use the MyAthens Portal site to access library resources off-site or the OpenAthens pop-up screen
- Accounts are valid for 1 years. A renewal email will be sent to you 30 days before your account expires.
- Only affiliates without a Banner Health email address will be issued an OpenAthens account
