LIPPINCOTT PROCEDURES & LIPPINCOTT ADVISOR

Lippincott replaced Elsevier (Clinical Skills/Mosby’s) and CE Direct as a point-of-care and point-of-learning tool, skills, and competency.

Banner transitioned to Lippincott in April of 2020. Please note - All outstanding CE Direct modules at the time of conversion were replaced with the appropriate Lippincott module directly into their BLC.  Staff can still access their CEU’s from CE Direct (see attachment).

Here’s a brief overview of what Lippincott offers:

  • Lippincott® Procedures—provides over 1,700 evidence-based step-by-step procedures, including skills checklists and competency exams, along with demonstration videos and images to review. And all are accessible from any computer or mobile device! https://procedures.lww.com
  • Lippincott® Advisor—provides immediate access to summarized clinical information in a very user-friendly format, related to diseases, drugs, diagnostic tests, patient teaching, care plans and cultural perspectives, and much more. There’s also a full-length e-textbook library included, so you won’t have to use unreliable web searches again. https://advisor.lww.com/

Training resources can be found here: Lippincott Solutions Training

All computers at Banner Health have auto-logon access to Lippincott Procedures and Lippincott Advisor.
