Sage Journals provides a wide variety of journal collections across the Health Sciences disciplines.  Open Access journals are also discoverable.  Users can also expect to find unique features geared toward researchers and publishers.

Accessing this resource

• On-site: visit the Banner Health Library Services website and follow this link path: "Resources">Databases>S>Sage Journals 
• Off-site:
  • With Bannerhealth.com email: Start on the library website and click on "Resources">Databases>S>Sage Journals . You will be asked to login once with your Banner Health email, password, and Microsoft Authenticator App.
  • Without BannerHealth.com email: Start at OpenAthens Portal. Login with your library issued Open Athens account and use links provided on the list of resources. Don't have an OpenAthens account? : Use this form to request an account. It may also be helpful to view this OpenAthens video for detailed information on each of the resources.
• Mobile: If you are accessing this resource via a mobile device, we highly recommend that you start at the library website (library.bannerhealth.com) and and follow this link path:  "Resources">Databases>S>Sage Journals. Once you do so, you will be prompted to enter your Banner Health credentials and authenticate using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

How to search

1. From the home screen under "Browse Journals by Discipline", select Health Sciences

1. Select a subject by expanding the "Subjects" drop-down menu or use the A-Z listing to locate journals by title
2. View the alphabetical listing of journal titles
3. Search within to locate titles with specific keywords

Advanced Features

• Advanced Search allows for searching multiple fields as well as a targeted journal citation search
• Search tips - Boolean, proximity, "relevance boosting", truncation, "fuzzy" searching (finding variations in spelling), and more.

2. Are you located at a Banner facility? If yes, at which facility are you located?
3. Can you check your IP address? You can google "what is my IP address" if you are unsure, Google "what is my IP address?"
