When can physician residents access Banner library resources?

Residents will have access to "Banner" library materials and resources once they receive their network logon credentials and are populated in Banner IT's active directory.

Answer

Residents/Fellows are scheduled to attend "IT access days" typically a day or two after orientation depending on their program. There they will receive all of their log ins which includes "Banner" network credentials. They need their network credential to logon to access library resources and materials. Each program may vary on their start dates, but typically it is on or around the middle of June each year. Fellows have a more delayed start a month or two later depending on their program.

For 2024, most programs begin the week of June 17th so residents should have access sometime during this week. If you are having difficulty accessing Banner library resources, please contact us: https://library.bannerhealth.com/
