Off-site Access Just Got Easier

Banner Health Library Services is making changes to how you access our online resources. 

We are working to minimize the number of clicks to get to our online content. The changes are also being made to ensure access remains secure. Finally, they are being made so many users have the convenience of utilizing a single username and password to access all Banner Health tools and platforms.  

Users with a @bannerhealth.com  email 

If you have a Banner Health email simply go to our website from any device, click on any link and you will be directed to log into your Banner Health account using your email, password and Mobile Pass code. Technically this is still OpenAthens but instead of a separate account, OpenAthens is now using our Banner Health credentials to validate users. 

Affiliated users without a @bannerhealth.com  email 

You will need to have a separate OpenAthens account to access resources off-site. The library will issue OpenAthens account to eligible users. You will need to register for a OpenAthens username. Please use our form "Register for an OpenAthens" account, https://bannerhealth.libwizard.com/f/openathens-registration
