How do I connect my personal NEJM account to the institutional subscription?

Answer

Utilize Banner Health's Institutional Subscription to NEJM

For institutional subscriptions, you must sign into your NEJM.org account while using on on-site computer or while connected through Global Protect (Banner's VPN). This will enable the site license access rights to sync with your personal NEJM.org account automatically for 60 days. After the initial log in, the system will remember the association, and you may sign on from anywhere, on any device.

Reverify Your Affiliation

You may need to reverify your affiliation with Banner. To reverify, simply sign in using your NEJM.org account while using on on-site computer or while connected through Global Protect (Banner's VPN)

Utilizing the institutional subscription to NEJM provides additional access to NEJM Knowledge+, NEJM Journal Watch

*Knowledge+ Notice : Are you in the Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Program? Kindly contact your respective Program Coordinator (or library staff can connect you ). The library does not manage the Knowledge+ side of things. Thank you for your patience.

UA and Banner Health provide an institutional subscription to NEJM.

Any Device Access

Any device can be used to pair — phone, tablet, laptop, desktop — granting remote access for a period of 60 days to their account, regardless of device. Remote access is automatically reauthenticated and extended for another 60 days every time you sign into your free NEJM.org account, while logged into your organization’s network. You must be logged into your account for each session to enable remote access. You can easily monitor your institutional remote access status from the My Account tab while signed into NEJM.org.
