Apps are continuously changing, updating, and upgrading.
Some apps are better than others, we recommend that you read reviews online or on the app store to get a better understanding of the tool before you download it.
Apps vs. Websites
It might be helpful to understand the difference between mobile apps and mobile websites. Mobile apps also called Apps are downloaded from the App Store on your phone. A Mobile website also called a Mobile 'Friendly' website is an optimized website which detects the size of your screen and adjusts the layout to make it easier to use.
A well rated and well designed apps provide a faster, better user experience. Not all resources provide both. For example, NEJM does not have a Mobile App for the journal but does provides a Mobile Friendly website which displays well on any small device. NEJM also has have several apps for other products that they sell like Board Prep materials. The Lippincott Solutions does has an app however it may not connect with your MyHR|Workday account meaning you may not get credit for completed CE.
