Looking for a direct to PDF link?

Get the Libkey Nomad browser extension to link to generate a direct to PDF link to  Banner resources on every page

Answer

Get Immediate Access to Full Text Articles with a Browser Extension

Thank you for being a frequent user of Banner Health Library Services. I wanted to take a moment to show you a tool that would give you access to all the full text articles you want without waiting on us.

The tool is called Libkey Nomad. It is a browser extension which has already been approved by Banner Health IT to install on any work computer and/or personal computer.

I think this tool is useful because you can access the PDF directly from any webpage. For example if you are looking at the table of contents for Practical Neurology, view the abstract, and then decide you want the article, a link will appear on the page which accesses [Your Library]* collection to create a direct to PDF link.  You will never have to leave the webpage that you are on to get the full article.

Here is a short video (less than a minute) on how the tool works. https://www.screencast.com/t/k2JrUn7Snk41 If you would like to set it up, I can send you full instructions or walk you through it over the phone.

*Your Library could be Banner Health Library, University of Arizona Library, or anything else.

*Banner Health URL prefix https://libkey.io/libraries/1578

*UA URL prefix https://libkey.io/libraries/74
